Fixed Sizer Stations
Fixed Sizer Stations are fixed in position for the life of the mine.
Find Out MoreThe mining industry faces challenges in maintaining profitability amid declining high-grade ore deposits while prioritising sustainability. Material haulage significantly impacts mine performance. In-Pit Sizing & Conveying (IPSC), also know as In-Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC), offers a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to traditional truck haulage, reducing operating costs, resource consumption, emissions, and noise while enhancing safety. We design customised turnkey IPSC systems for underground and open-pit mines, delivering comprehensive solutions that maximise cost savings, environmental benefits, and safety.

Our ServicesTrack mounted Fully Mobile Sizer Stations work directly with your excavation equipment and can move around your mine with ease.
Fully MobileWeather affects any mining operation. Heavy rainfall impacts ground conditions and conveyor maintenance, while freezing temperatures or excess moisture affect material flow. IPSC systems are engineered around site-specific environmental conditions, with maintenance strategies designed to minimise weather-related downtime.
Not necessarily. Suitability depends on factors including mine layout, annual production, material characteristics, expected mine life and capital investment. Smaller operations or shorter-life mines may be better served by conventional truck haulage, while large open-pit mines with a longer production horizon tend to get the most long-term value from IPSC.
Yes, provided the sizing equipment is selected for the expected range of material properties. Ore competency, abrasiveness and fragmentation are assessed during the design phase, so the sizer and conveyor system maintains consistent throughput as hardness varies.
IPSC systems are engineered to handle a wide range of dry, wet and sticky minerals and ores — from coal, iron ore and copper ore through to oil sands and other soft-to-hard rock applications. The sizing equipment and conveyor design are customised to the material characteristics and production requirements of each mine.
